Pets for Active Entrepreneurs by Paulie Sabol

Today my sweet Eurydice, a medium phase pearl fancy rat (See the lighter looking pet rat below), passed into the night after a long fight.

Eurydice was a three legged rattie and my first fancy rat.

As a national speaker on making a great living in small business without losing you life to the tyranny of every day tasks, my pet needs are very unique. In my estimation, a fancy rat is the best pet for an active entrepreneur (especially one who travels frequently).

Consider this list.

• Fancy rats keep to a cage. Like fish, birds, and other small mammals, fancy rats are wonderfully happy in their own homes. Additionally, a fancy rat would rarely venture out of the cage even if you left the door open.
  
  
• Fancy rats eat anything you have, will horde their food, and eat lab blocks with an eternal shelf life. This means, when you with them you can enjoy their company as your personal garbage disposal (though as you can guess it's not the best diet for them); however, when you have to leave, you can load them up on lab blogs which the will hide about their cage and eat for days without needing you attention.
  
  
• Fancy rats are extremely social and loyal. Rats will learn to feel the vibration of different people's footfalls and go to the cage to meet their owners. They groom one another and play. (Some rats even box.)
  
  
• Fancy rats will spend time with you, love on you, and cuddle with you; however, they never demand your time. They don't climb in your lap when you're trying to work. They don't walk across the keyboard and mess up your work. They don't bark, squawk, growl or talk.
  
  
• Fancy rats don't need to be let out for walks in the Chicagoland -10 degree winters. They also don't bit. Because of their exotic quality, no vet visits per say.
  
  
• And as you can see, they're cute as anything on this good Earth.
